Towards the end of season 2, Ga-bin is devastated over the death of her parents and heavily repents destroying Hae-ryun and Si-eun’s marriage. After Ga-bin breaks up with Hae-ryun, he seems to regret ending his marriage to Si-eun. Hye-ryung apologizes to her ex-in-laws and to Song Won, who is pregnant with Sa-hyeon’s baby. The soon parents-to-be decide to get married after the birth of their baby. By the end of the season finale, Song Won goes into labor. Elsewhere Pi-young and Yu-sin share a moment, although the former is clear that she is only in touch with her ex-husband for the sake of their daughter Ji-a. In flash-forward sequences, we see Sa-hyeon getting married to A-mi, Seo Ban to Song Won, and Pi-young to Dong-ma. In the closing moments of the sophomore run, Ji-a seems to be possessed by her grandfather’s spirit and angrily attacks Dong-mi to choke her to death. Hence, it is clear that the ending has opened up multiple cliffhangers that require at least another season to unfold.
